ATTEND AND GET A COMPETENCE CERTIFICATE TO WORK ON HIGH VOLTAGE MACHINERY

One of the main causes of electrical accidents is said to be incorrect isolation of the circuits where work is to be done .To ensure safety of operators and maintenance personnel, proper operating switching procedures are necessary and more so when the circuits have multiple feeds and are complex. Therefore, this course emphasizes on the isolation procedures to ensure proper and safe solution of HV circuits.

This course will also cover theoretical aspects of safety as well as practical case studies and statutory issues. This comprehensive five day course will give participants an excellent opportunity to experience firsthand information on what the ORHVS is all about and to use the “ON THE JOB TRAINING” session and what is expected from a site supervisor.

Participants will understand operating regulations and conditions governing persons and work as applicable to high and medium voltage installations, apparatus and equipment. During this course participants will be required to write exams and a Certificate of competence will be issued to participants who will obtain 80% or more per module.
